Lonesome Lover is a group exhibition featuring a myriad of mediums from illustration, painting, animation, collage and technology. Conceptually, this show will bring emotion to a visceral level, exploring the collision of colors and characters in the most elusory and fantastical way. One cannot help be drawn into this whimsical world of lines, contrast and intimate text that has the viewer silently soliciting stylized characters for a few more words.

The opening will be on March 10^th at the Gray Area Gallery, and will include live music from Pistols Will Air following the reception. The show will host new works from Trish Grantham (trishgrantham.com), Amy Ruppel (amyruppel.com), Alphonso Solorzano, Jessica Huston and Jason Vivona, and run through the end of March. Additional artists will be announced prior to the opening.

On all those long lonesome nights, when solitude made our longing for love that much more poignant, or for all those times when love went unreciprocated…for the times our hearts are filled with pain and we felt misunderstood…come and celebrate the nights of the lonesome lover.
