The Deconstruction Workers are announcing their latest action: 'Let it Rain' Flash Mob at a yet to be named San Francisco mall on Saturday, March 15th, 2pm.
As a way of challenging unmediated mass consumption in our culture, they will create a peaceful and humorous spectacle that will temporarily disrupt the functioning of a site of commerce.
A group of people will 'disperse' fake money from a top story mezzanine, while a set mob of people scramble to gather the faux-dough on the floor below. The 'money' will carry slogans such as 'Your ad here' and 'A dollar for your conscience' mocking the excessive consumption prevalent in shopping malls.
