You are warmly invited to spend an enchanted evening ringing in the New Year with El Radio Fantastique and Friends at 'King's Point Playland', a 1930s era costumed carnival for adults in Point Reyes Station. We’re planning live musical performances, burlesque dancers, carnival games and merriment, oddities, nudities, costume contest, raffle, card games, snacks, beverages, midnight surprises and general high-style spectacle! Entertainment: Win a prize for your gal or guy at the games, dance the night away to the hits of yesteryear with DJ Tom LG, get your photo taken at the photo booth, play cards, visit the peep show, marvel at the oddities, look into your future, enter our 1930s celebrity costume contest, win fabulous raffle prizes, visit the soup line and the bar, and prepare yourself to marvel at midnight surprises! Live cabaret style performances by dancing girls, tattooed ladies, tap dancers, clowns, jugglers, fire dancers, drummers, barkers and carnies, and El Radio Fantastique. Depression-era delicacies and delights will fill our charmingly informal 'soup line' buffet. Admission also includes midnight champagne toast. Advance purchase strongly recommended. $50 general admission. Includes entry into Playland and carnival tickets that can be used for games, food and drinks. (16 and older, please) A limited number of scholarships ($20 entry) will gladly be awarded to those who would like to donate an hour or two towards set up or clean up.
