David Brower, father of the modern environmental movement, pioneered the concept of using photography for advocacy. In the year he would have been 100, we celebrate his legacy with a special exhibition featuring the exhibit format books he championed, as well as stunning work from photographers Bill Curtsinger and Joseph Holmes. The opening event will include a reception and artist talk with Curtsinger and Kenneth Brower, writer and son of David Brower.

All programs are free and open to the public. Space is limited, RSVP recommended. RSVP to contact AT browercenter.org or (510) 809-0900 ext. 116
